The Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition is the first sub 10 inch tablet from Motorola. With an 8.2 inch HD display, Motorola believe that this is the optimum screen size for tablets.

The XOOM 2 features an all new display; strengthened by Corning Gorilla Glass and comes with a special splash guard coating that is designed to make your XOOM 2 more durable and stain resistant.

Running Google Android 3.2 you have all of Google's Mobile services as well as their fully customisable and interactive interface. Gmail, Gtalk, YouTube, Maps, Navigation and much more it is all here. A complete mobile PC, the WiFi enabled Xoom 2 connects to a wireless internet connection to allow you to complete your online tasks.

Connect to Facebook, Twitter, browse the web, upload pictures to Picasa or Flickr it is all possible. Thanks to a powerful 1.2GHz processor, the Xoom 2 is capable of handling multiple tasks at once.

Being a media edition it has 16GB of internal memory onto which you can store, music, photos, and videos and enjoy the visual experience through the Corning Gorilla Glass toughened screen and the internal speakers (with adaptive virtual surround sound and multiple speakers and booming bass) and 3.5mm audio out. As an added benefit the Xoom 2 Media Edition has MotooCast, a wireless streaming service that plays and displays content stored on up to 5 computers you have authorised the Xoom to access (Setup required).

A rear facing 5 megapixel camera allows you to capture photos and the auto focus and LED flash help get a better picture. On the front of the device there is too a 1.3 front facing camera for online chatting.

Weighing just 386 grams the Xoom 2 is not as heavy as you might think and really is a portable computing solution.
