All Camcorders come with 1 year INTERNATIONAL MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY, if anything goes wrong with the camcorder you can meet company's dealer and they will repair or replace it for free within the time of warranty. These camcorders can be used here just to take video and charge the battery but to watch the video in NTSC (American) TV you will need to convert the cassette to NTSC system.
