Front Stage Surround Advance

Advanced Sound Retriever
Pioneer-exclusive Sound Retriever technology significantly improves WMA/MP3/MPEG-4 AAC compressed audio to CD quality. It applies a special algorithm to restore the signals in barely audible ranges usually lost during the compression process.
Auto Level Control
Auto Level Control equalizes volume level differences between tracks when playing MP3/WMA sources etc. The playback volume is maintained at a consistent level, so there is no need to make adjustments for each song.
Down-Firing Subwoofer
The Down-Firing subwoofer efficiently disperses sound with little distortion, filling your room with rich, deep bass. The innovative design combines quality performance with a stylish look.
CD->USB Recording
You can directly record CD songs onto USB devices without using your PC. The data is stored in MP3 format, letting you choose the bit rate from 128/192/320 kbps.
USB Movie Playback
The units allow playback of DivX videos from USB memory sticks, in addition to CD-R/CD-RW/DVD-RW discs. DivX video lets you enjoy highly compressed files in quality pictures.
HDMI and KURO LINK
HDMI available on all HTZ models ensures lossless transmission for high-quality pictures and sound, as signals remain in a pure digital state. HDMI can upscale 480p video signals up to 1080p output. With models featuring KURO LINK function, you can operate the whole system's basic functions such as power on/off and playback through the KURO's remote control.
Ready for Bluetooth Wireless Technology
With the AS-BT100 optional Bluetooth adapter, you can wirelessly stream music from compatible devices, such as mobile phones, PCs, or iPod (optional transmitter required). The basic functions of the device can be operated using the system's remote control.
