The TH42PV7HS from Panasonic is a 720p 42" LCD Multi-system TV. This slim, stylish display has a single HDMI input plus a PC input to double this 42" display as an XGA computer monitor. With 10,000:1 contrast and Panasonic's Real Black Drive System, dark colors and blacks will appear deeper and darker even in rooms with ambient light. The HDMI input allows for a one-cable digital connection from your HD components. The included Viera Remote Control will be able to control not only your TV but your other A/V gear connected via HDMI cable.

Traditionally, video signals are transmitted using an interlacing format where two separate frames are transposed to create one single frame. This results in flicker that can lead to eye fatigue and soreness. This flicker problem is eliminated with the progressive scanning process where video images are transmitted in one single complete frame. The TH-42PV70 is compatible with all progressive scanning signals from high quality DVD players and HDTV decoders, and other high-end video equipment to produce brilliant flicker-free images.
